Healthy Aging India has been hosting various Health Camps since 2011. These camps open up access to healthcare and health literacy to disadvantaged communities. The MMU was inaugurated in 2024 as a means to improve access for these camps.
MMU takes healthcare to the doorsteps of the poor, offering critical diagnosis, follow-ups, and referrals where brick-and-mortar clinics are scarce.
It has a doctor, nurse and physiotherapist on board providing free diagnosis, BP, sugar, ECG, physiotherapy and medication for all.
Triple sharing rooms with essential amenities, CCTV security.
Curated meal plans catering to individual dietary needs.
On-site healthcare professionals and emergency response services.
Yoga, meditation, art sessions, and cultural programs.
Dedicated counselors to provide mental and emotional support.
Regular interactions with young volunteers.
Access to healthcare is a basic right for all. Often people burdened with financial and social inequalities overlook their own healthcare and medical requirements. From the streets of city slums to construction sites, immigrants and daily wagers work night and day for a better future, forgetting their present health.
This medical mobile unit hosts health camps across Delhi-NCR, as a gentle reminder to them, that they matter, their health matters and that they deserve to live healthy lives too.
Providing free diagnosis, BP, sugar, ECG, physiotherapy and medication, we want to change their lives for the better.
The medical mobile unit is a Medium Duty truck that contains an entire comprehensive medical unit. A 3015 pro model Eicher tuck, it is 6.7m long. This truck has been modified to become an entire medical unit with the help of Spencer Tech Pvt Ltd for installation and interiors.
Inside the MMU, you will find-
Physiotherapy unit: With equipment donated by GAIL and IGTPL like Ultrasound Therapy Unit, massage gun, etc.
Eye Checkup station: With 6/6 vision testing

A cataract is a clouding of the lens in the eye, making it harder to see clearly. Causing blurry vision and glare, it affects the elderly. From 2024 to 2025, many patients have been taken for successful cataract care.
